Judging process for the 2010 Plain English Awards

The 2010 Plain English Awards will be judged by 18 national and international plain English specialists and advocates. The judges are divided across six judging panels.

All entries are sent directly to the judges, who assess the entries against the specific requirements for each award and the plain English criteria shown on this website.

For each award, the judges will select a shortlist of up to 10 entries. The judges will then select up to three finalists from the shortlist, before selecting a winner.
