Lynne is the director of Laracy Communications — an Auckland-based consultancy specialising in professional writing training and plain language programmes.

She trained as a journalist, and held a range of roles in mainstream media as well as health and public sector publishing before starting her own training company in 2006.

Lynne’s focus is on helping organisations make a culture change in how they write, so that clear, concise, plain language writing becomes the norm.
She does this by reviewing writing standards, developing writing guidelines, advising on templates and pro forma documents, and training staff in clear workplace writing.
