…to enter the Plain English Awards! The Best Plain English Sentence Transformation award recognises the best plain English rewrite of an ‘unplain’ sentence by a New Zealand organisation. Entries are judged against internationally accepted principles of plain English.

Each entry in this category costs $143.75 including GST or $74.75 including GST for registered charities. This fee goes completely towards running the Awards.

What you need to know

You can enter up to three separate sentence transformations for your one entry fee.

Judges will consider each sentence separately, so you have up to three chances of winning in this category!

Prizes for this award

The winner of the Best Plain English Sentence Transformation award will receive:
