Entry criteria for Category 4: Best Plain English Transformation

This award recognises the best plain English rewrite of ‘unplain’ text written by a New Zealand organisation.

The original text must be:

up to 200 words long

difficult for the intended audience to understand.

Entries must:

include both the original text and the rewrite

belong to the organisation submitting the entry.

As part of the judging process, entries are assessed against relevant criteria in the WriteMark Plain English Standard.
