Rob Waller is an information designer based in the UK, with 40 years of experience in practice, research, writing, and teaching. He coordinates the Simplification Centre — a charity that promotes the clear communication of complex information. Simplification Centre volunteers challenge complex documents, and develop free-to-use alternatives using plain language, clear layout, and visualisation. Rob has worked on simplified communications for many UK government departments, as well as service brands such as Vodafone, Barclays, and British Gas. He is a frequent conference speaker, and has published many papers on the theory and practice of information design.
